Activities
Ice skating at Tenney Park. It's super cheap to rent skates, and it's an idyllic frozen lagoon where you can pretend you're in a Norman Rockwell painting.
Skiing, sledding, or snowboarding at Tyrol Basin. Maybe Cait's biased as it's in Mount Horeb, but if the snow is awesome and you wanna be active, make the 45 minute drive to enjoy all Tyrol has to offer. Just please don't show up to the wedding in a leg brace.
Places to watch sports: lots of games being played the weekend of NYE, these bars all have lots of TVs for optimal viewing: LJ's, The Great Dane, The Brass Ring, The Nitty Gritty
